Final Post

In Multimedia Design, I walked into this room the very first day not knowing how to do anything. I didn't know how to do Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Audacity, or Flash. I took this class because I knew it would be beneficient to me later on in life. At first, I thought I was going to do bad at these programs, but turn out I'm actually really good at this type of stuff.
Today, as my last day in this class, I'm going to walk out of this room knowing how to do so many different things. First, we learned how to use Illustrator which used Vector images. I learned how to make different shapes. Then for Photoshop that used Raster images. I learned how to manipulate photos. Next, we did Dreamweaver, we made a website which was pretty fun. It involved a lot of different steps, but it was cool to learn. After that we worked on Audacity. That was definitely one of my favorite projects. I enjoy mixing audio and experimenting with different sound effects. Finally, we did Flash, which was working with animation. That was defitinely the best in my opinion. Flash was difficult because if you did something wrong, then your motion wouldn't work correctly. As I'm doing this final post for blogger, I can say I was successful in Multimedia Design. -Goodbye

Flash: Motion Tween

To start off with my animation, I made a background with a pool and a diving board. Then I added another layer and called it, "person." I drew a person on top of the diving board. Then I went to the person layer and clicked frame 5 and inserted a key frame. Then i moved the person a little bit and went to frame 1 and clicked "insert motion tween." Then I repeated these steps every 5 frames, moving the person 1 by 1. After I got the person in the pool, I added another layer and called it "ball." I had a ball fly in and hit the person. Then the person falls into the pool and at the end it says, "ball wins."

FLASH: Shape Tween

For my animation, I changed the background to black. Then I added a text layer and typed my name. I added another layer and called it "shape 1." I made a circle and then made it look like pacman. I clicked on frame 10 under the shape layer and inserted a keyframe. Then I clicked on frame 10 in the text layer and inserted a keyframe. Then I went back to frame 10 under the shape layer, deleted my pacman, and added a bunch of circles. Then I went to frame 1 under my shape layer and selected "Create Shape Tween." Then I made 4 more different layers and called them Shape 2, 3...etc and repeated all of these steps. I changed the location of shapes and their colors. Finally, I added another text layer and put Epic and then it changed into Fail.

FLASH: Tutorial 1

For my animation, I changed the background color to black. I created 2 layers: text and shape. I clicked on the txt layer and typed "Multimedia Design" and changed the font of Vladimir Script and changed the color to yellow. Then I clicked on the shape layer and drew a yellow rectangle on the top left hand corner. I clicked on frame 25 under the shape layer and right clicked and chose "Insert Keyframe." Then I clicked on frame 25 under the text layer and right clicked and chose "Insert Keyframe." Then I went ack to frame 25 under the shape layer and delted the rectangle and then drew a light blue polystar on the top right corner of the stage. Then I clicked on frame 1 under the shape layer and right clicked and chose "Create Shape Tween." Finally, I tested my animation and the yellow rectangle moved acrossed the screen and changed into the blue polystar.
