Photoshop: Magnetic Lasso

First, I uploaded a picture of a shoe, my legit shoe, and put it up on Adobe Photoshop. Then I added another layer and called it background. I went to magnetic lasso and went around my shoe. Then I went to Select: Inverse and Edit: Cut. Next, I went to the background layer and changed it to a light blue. Then I had to use the Blur Tool and go around the shoe and blue some of the edges so it wouldn't look like it was sitting on top of the background. Then I went to the Horizontal Text Tool and typed the word "Vans" and I changed the font and the color.
